Dance around the World

April 2020
Dear Parent/Carers
#StayAtHome and stay safe

We are putting together another exciting challenge. Dance is one of the ultimate activities to de-stress, lose inhibitions, bring people together and boost physical health. Whether you love ballet, street dance or the floss this is the perfect opportunity to show off your moves. The aim is to promote dance as an art form and send special messages about dance values across the world. On the 29th April, it is International Dance Day and is a global celebration of dance.
If you would like to get involved, with your family members or on your own, here is your chance!
On our website, you will be able to view some dance videos and listen to music from around the world to help you get creative. All you need to do is to choose a dance, practice, dress up (if you want!) and most of all have fun! Your video does not need to be long and we will edit the music to your chosen global dance.
We aim to complete the video by 26th April to be released on the 29th. Please email your videos to

Good luck everyone ‘Together We Achieve’
Thank you
