Our motto is central to our aim that all children should thrive in our school in all aspects of their personal development. We aim to identify and support children who have specific areas of difficulty, so that they can achieve their full academic and social potential and have equal access to a broad, balanced curriculum.
Resourced Provision Facility – Treetops
We have 4 allocated Resource Provision places for Autism.
Our Resourced Provision space is called Treetops and offers a quieter and calmer learning space which is tailored around the individual children’s needs. In Treetops we follow the Sensory Curriculum and bespoke activities are planned for based around the children’s personal, social and academic development. We understand the need for this curriculum to be flexible so that learning and progress can be personalised to each individual child.
Children with a Resourced Provision place will work in small groups within Treetops but are also supported to access our mainstream classrooms, wherever possible. We pride ourselves on our inclusive practice and work hard to ensure all our Resourced Provision pupils have the opportunity to work alongside and socialise with their year group peers whenever possible.
Local Offer
Local authorities are required to set out a local offer of services available to support children who are disabled or who have Special Educational Needs.
The local offer enables families to understand what services they can access and what support they can expect from a range of local agencies.
